SCT Assisted the ALB MSH Project in Winning the ENR Global Best Projects Award 2024 in the Engineeri

On October 13, 2024, Engineering News-Record (ENR), the authoritative global journal in engineering and construction, officially announced the ENR Global Best Projects Awards for 2024.
The Albemarle 50KT/A Lithium Hydroxide Battery Material Plant Project was awarded the ENR Global Best Projects Award in the Power/Industrial Sector for its technological innovations, sustainable design, and significant impact on the industry. It stands out as the only project in power/industrial sector in China to win this prestigious award this year. This award is widely recognized as the highest honor in the global engineering field, highlighting the remarkable capabilities of Chinese enterprises in the realm of international high-end projects.
Sichuan Calciner Technology Co., Ltd. (SCT) serves as the primary contractor and design institute for this project. At the beginning of the project, Chairman Chang Jie stated, "The MSH Project is the first major newly constructed project by Albemarle in China. The construction procedures and technologies will adhere to European and American codes and standards, which present strict requirements and start from a high baseline. This poses a significant challenge for SCT. To facilitate early production and meet design standards and goals, we must provide the MSH project with the best technical solutions as stipulated in the Contract."
